What is Arthritis Foot Pain?

Arthritis foot pain is typically represented as foot joint pain, pain top of foot or pain bottom of foot.  This pain makes its sufferers dread walking and can significantly reduce the amount of exercise a sufferer of arthritis foot pain will do.

What causes arthritis foot pain?

You must consult with your doctor before beginning any arthritis foot pain treatments.  You doctor will be able to tell what type of arthritis is causing your foot pain.  Some common causes of arthritis foot pain are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.  For both of these conditions, you doctor will probably recommend walking in comfortable shoes.  Avoid high-heel shoes and pointed toe shoes.  Finding comfortable footwear is one of the best treatments for arthritis foot pain.
